We had a road trip to Edmonton for Canada Day. It was a long 13 hour trip, but it was worth it. Driving through the Canadian Rockies and Alberta Prairie was magnificent. Actually ‘magnificent’ would be an understatement.

That is a black bear by the way.

We stopped by at Drumheller. It is a city known for its dinosaur fossils.

They also have some hoodoos;

and ofcourse going to Alberta will never be complete without going to West Edmonton Mall.

On our first day, I wore

a thrift blouse, vintage purple shorts, espadrilles and a love culture top.
Day #2 at Seaside, Oregon.
We went to go see the helicopter ride but everyone was too sissy to do (okay, I was too sissy to do it lol) it so we decided to try go cart racing!

We then went back to our hotel to eat lunch and went walking around the neighbourhood stores. I tried some dark chocolate caramel at tiptons. It was delicious!

I love collecting stuff from different cultural backgrounds- I was lucky enough to found a store who sells

We ate at
because I have spacers, I only ate soup :/
For the long weekend, my parents decided to go to Seaside, Oregon. Its beautiful here, but before arriving to this beautiful place we had to drive by some pretty interesting marshlands
On the way there, there was a truck that was following us. We lost him after a couple of hours. :S

I wore an American Apparel long sleve and Zara Pants & some accessories :b

I will try and blog some seaside pictures tomorrow, hopefully sunrise & sunset ones (lets hope it wont rain!)
I had the most awesome weekend serving for CFC-Kids Village Conference in whistler! I’m going to miss the kids! *cough* lol.

The worship led by a KFC (Justin) was amazing

& the KFC talk was life changing!! these kids are going to be world changers! I’m so proud of ‘em (‘: !

—“bad habits are what makes kids unsuccessful later in life- i have some bad habits myself, I bite my nails… but still if you’re going to have bad habits now they are not going to stop later , same thing with good habits, if you have good habits today- omygosh! you do not know how good your habits will be later on in life.”
woke up at 3am to cross the border, arrived at Oregon at around 11am. My parents decided to take the train to the mall near our hotel called Lloyd Center. We then went to grotto for the 3pm mass— we walked around, took some pictures, light a candle and prayed.

The next day- we went to Columbia Gorge to shop. Unfortunately, I was not able to get anything :/ … Then we went to Portland’s Saturday Market. There was a lot of people.

there were heaps of performances including this—

I bought a Nepalese bag (that I will share later) and a hemp bracelet. We went to Washington Square to celebrate my cousins birthday at build a bear then we ate at Five Guys

After eating we went to my cousins hotel to blow some candles- &then went home to rest for the 10am mass for Easter Sunday. The next day, we went to this falls in Oregon (since my mom desperately wanted to see it) while I sleep in the car. We stopped by Jollibee for dinner and drove home to Vancouver. THE END. :D
